Raise awareness about leptospirosis and rodent-borne diseases among clinicians, veterinarians, policy makers and the public.
Triennial European meeting
Organise the ELS scientific meeting every three years, gathering researchers and clinicians from across the ERMA region.
Knowledge sharing
Facilitate communication and distribute relevant publications to the leptospirosis community across three continents.
Up-to-date epidemiology
Provide current epidemiological information on leptospirosis to international and national health authorities.
Diagnosis & training
Support education that assists diagnosis, research and the control or treatment of leptospirosis and related fevers.
Harmonised diagnostics
Promote harmonisation in the diagnosis of leptospirosis among European laboratories to build comparable databases.

Membership is open to everybody with an interest in leptospirosis, rodent-borne haemorrhagic fevers and spirochetal diseases. Members receive congress notifications, Google Group access and priority for scientific announcements.
